The Last Supper chapel is an open chapel connected to the mystery of the passion of Christ. It is the starting point of the way of the Cross. After the last supper of Jesus, He went to the pray in the Garden of Gethsemane – the station that immediately starts the way of the Cross in the Resurrection Garden. From 2016, the Holy Thursday lass Supper mass and the washing of the feet is done in this open chapel.
On the wall behind the altar is a monumental bronze panel of the last supper of Jesus that was realized by the Ortisei of Demetz Studio. The door to the sacristy is as well made of bronze on which the following words are engraved in Latin, English, Kiswahili, Luo, Maasai and Kikuyu: “This is my Body … This is my Blood”.
